Barracuda spam filter
To check your Barracuda spam filter, follow these steps:
1. Go to https://mail1.smcvt.edu/cgi-bin/index.cgi
2. To login, enter your full email address (username@smcvt.edu) and Mikenet password
3. Once you log in, you will see your quarantine inbox. There are 3 actions you can take for each email.
You can “Deliver” the email, which will send the email through to your inbox
You can “Whitelist” the email, which means all emails from that domain (example @smcvt.edu) will now always go through to your inbox
You can “Delete” the email, which will remove the email from your quarantine inbox.
 
If you don’t have an email within the spam filter, but still wish to whitelist or blacklist an email address or domain follow these steps:
 
1. Under the Preferences tab, click on the Whitelist/Blacklist button
2. In the Whitelist section or Blacklist section, add an email address (so-and-so@gmail.com) or domain (gmail.com) in the text field under Email Address and click Add.
If you ever wish to remove an email address or a domain from the Whitelist/Blacklist, simply click on the trash can icon to remove the address or domain from your list.
