Putting Faculty/Staff SMC E-mail on your Phone

 

Here are the steps you will follow if you wish to put your faculty/staff SMC e-mail on your phone:

1. Go under Settings.

 

2. Under Mail, Contacts, Calendars, choose the Add Account… option.

 

3. When asked what kind of account, choose Microsoft Exchange.

 

4. Enter in your email address and your Mikenet Password, and then choose Next.

 

5. At first, the adding of the account will fail due to the iPhone not having the server
information. Enter smcmail.smcvt.edu as the server name. Also, make sure that username is your
Mikenet username. Then click Next.

 

6. Save the account, and within a few minutes you will begin receiving emails.
