To get your email onto a Windows 8/8.1 phone, follow the steps below:
1. Click Settings, and then select Email + Accounts
2) Click "add an account" and then select "Exchange"
3) Type your email address and password in the given fields.
4) When you click submit it should just work. If it doesn't, it will ask for a server address. If that occurs, the server is "smcmail.smcvt.edu" for faculty and staff or "pod51004.outlook.com" for students. (without the quotes)
Once you set up your email account on your phone you'll be able to access it from everywhere--not just on campus.
